Amelie's Cafe: Holiday Spirit 32.0

Amelie's Cafe: Holiday Spirit is a time management game with a Christmas theme. You play Amelie, a girl who owns several cafes, and who takes personal care of her clients, serving them and trying to turn a nice profit. If you serve your customers on time, you'll receive money, if not you will lose money.

There are two modes in the game: the Story mode and the Survival mode. In the story mode you play through a sequence of levels which grow in difficulty as the levels progress and you have a certain goal to achieve in order to finish a level. In the Survival mode you can just play for fun as long as you want and of course play for a higher score as possible.

The gameplay is simple, every customer comes and sits either at the bar or at a table and makes an order, and you have to forward it to your chefs because they won't do anything on their own. Then you have to take the desired combination from your chefs and give it to the customer. Some customers might order something more when they are finished eating. The amount of cash earned depends on the happiness of the customer, which in turn depends on how fast he is served. If you take too long and you don't serve a customer you will lose money. If you serve them very fast, you will earn more.

The game also has a bonus system. Each time you complete an action, a picture of a bonus will appear in the bottom of the game screen. If Amelie completes more than 3 of the same actions in a row and you click on them, you will get a bonus. The bonus will be bigger if you have more than 3 actions in a row. All the bonuses are explained thoroughly in the help section of the game. At first, the bonuses are just for fun and scoring more points, but later in the game they are almost necessary for getting passed a level.

The artwork is nice and with the holiday theme, Amelie's Cafe: Holiday Spirit creates a pleasant environment and an overall very nice game.
